Gawker's got the scoop, via the Smoking Gun, of a little, uh, backup at Lenny Kravitz's penthouse at 30 Crosby St. Seems a toilet backup caused "catastrophic water damage" totaling $333,849.77 to the downstairs apartment of businessman Joel Disend, who paid $2.84 million for his place in 2001. Apparently the backup was caused by "various materials." Notes Gawker, "It's 2004, can't we just say 'syringes and latex?'"
