Even as Joe's Pizza landmark location slips away into the night, exciting new retail wonders are brewing nearby. In a few weeks, Murray's Cheese Shop will open at its new location, 254 Bleecker Street (at Carmine), across the street from its longtime digs (right). Crain's reports that the owner "has big plans to make the new store interesting to passersby, including a cheese cave that can be viewed from the sidewalk. 'Eventually, we may offer tours,' he says." In addition, Amy's Bread and fish retailer Wild Edibles plan stores in the new building.
