Yesterday's photograph, via New York, of architect Charles Gwathmey standing atop his Astor Place Sculpture For Living has sparked Curbed reader curiosity and outrage. Two selections from our inbox:

1) "If anyone thinks that the image of Charlie visiting the Astor Place site is a REAL photo, they are fools. Wrong light, no hardhat, etc. Photoshop is a wonderful tool."
