Move over, Soho House! Now there's something stupider! A new residential development, the Chelsea Club (not to be confused with, you know, all those Chelsea clubs), aims to feel more like a boutique hotel than just another apartment building. Reports The Real Deal, the developer "used terms like 'icy' and 'floating' to describe the building, which will feature a nearly all-glass façade designed by Karl Fischer Architects." Apartments in the building range from the high $400,000s to $1.8 million; sales started in August. "I don't think you'll see many Upper West Side families," says a rep for the developers.
