Nearly six months after the iconic Williamsburg Savings Bank tower went on the auction block, there's finally some news about its fate. As expected, the tower will be converted to residential housing, with 180 units set to go on the market in 2006. The buyer is developer the Dermot Company, who also manage the Opal in Queens, among other NYC residences.
