A Curbed reader writes to offer some additional Election Day neighborhood color from Park Slope:
I don't want to sound 100 percent confident, but I suspect that Kerry MAY take Park Slope. At least 80 voters there at 10:30 a.m... one count in the low 220s. Majority of voters: womyn, wearing Kerry For President buttons. More than twice that number of babies, unfortunately ineligible to vote at this time. Some enthusiasm for voting among union jacket-wearing natives, also. Few gunracks. Few confederate flags. Few bibles.Shit. We had Park Slope lighting up red on our electoral map.
