We'd been hearing Wilbur Ross, but no, it's Rupert Murdoch who has agreed to drop $44 million for the Rockefeller triplex at 834 Fifth Avenue, reports William Neuman. If the co-op board approves the deal, Murdoch will be required to fork over all cash for the place?not to mention the $21,469.07 monthly maintenance. The deal, as reported earlier this week, is the largest residential sale in New York real estate history?at least until next month. (P.S.
