A sign of just how desperate the market is for potential apartment buyers: real estate brokers are now comparing it to dating in Manhattan. "It always hurts to lose an apartment," Michael Shapot of Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy tells the Post. "It's sort of like dating; you can't despair. Chemistry is something that can be repeated." A Curbed tip: sleeping with the seller won't guarantee you the apartment, but it's probably not going to make you feel any dirtier.
