Over in the Hell's Kitchen environs, a bunch of, uh, old white men, seem to agree that development of the euphemistically named Hudson Yards area would be a good thing. A taste of their visionary vision: "If transportation and amenities are sufficiently attractive to businesses and workers, then it could evolve as a westward extension of Midtown?s high rent office market." (There's a PDF of their findings to download if you're having a particuarly suicidal day.) Would you believe? Some residents are a touch peeved. The reasoned dialogue at HellsKitchen.net begins, "The Olympic Bid is a scam." Jesus, has anyone told Bloomberg?
