Seminal Brooklyn blogger Aaron Bailey of 601am writes with an update on the mysterious trembling apartments of his borough: "I can confirm the Brooklyn apartment shakes. I live in the same area as the NYT author and feel the shake once a day or so. I'm pretty sure it happens when a large truck's engine reverberates the metal of the BQE. I was the first tenant in my brand new building about 18 months ago. Because of the shaking, the floors have sunk 2-3 inches, as evident from the gap between the hardwood floors and the molding."
