Starwich: When Your Sandwich Calls for Pomegranate Duck

What, you may ask, is Starwich? It's a new sandwich shop in Hell's Kitchen that soft-launched last Thursday. This outpost?the first in a microchain that promises to blanket NYC and stretch from Washington, DC to Boston?is sort of the anti-Pret: custom sandwiches made from 100 trendy ingredients like lobster, lump crab meat and pomegranate duck. It's being run by Spiro Baltas, formerly of Tavern on the Green and Fiamma. Does the revolution have legs? Join us at lunchtime, when the results of yesterday's pilgrimmage are revealed.
