The line was out the door. The service, unprepared for the onslaught that decent publicity kvetches in this city. After waiting for 20 minutes watching people who ordered long after me leave with their sandwiches, I asked the manager if perhaps my order had been overlooked. "No, your sandwich is just special." I asked if the other customers' sandwiches were not special. She promptly ordered the head sandwich maker (featured in the NY Times) to fill my order and rushed me out the door. Good sandwich. I'll go back in three months.
