The Daily News reports that superstar architect Sir Norman Foster has quit the Resnick-family project to build a 35-story apartment tower at the intersection of Wet, Chambers and Warren Streets, three blocks north of the WTC site in Tribeca. Apparently?go figure!?he was frustrated with NYC's public review process, which is likely to see the height of the tower reduced and some sort of "community recreation facility" added. Though Foster is gone, some iteration of his design is likely to live on, as the Resnicks apparently own the right to disfigure his plans as they see fit.
