When we heard they were going to redevelop the High Line, we pictured a modern-day Elysian Fields: an elevated greenspace where one could escape the clusterfuck of the city below. Now that we've examined the plans in detail, however, a darker truth becomes clear: this ain't a park, it's a Philip K. Dick dystopia come horrifyingly alive.
