Something fishy was going on on Friday night. First, we waited thirty minutes for Thai food on Court St. Then, we breezed out of town on the West Side Highway. We thought summer in NYC meant you only had to wait if you're trying to get out. Apparently, New York mag was thinking the same thing. Some samples from their survey of August delays around the city:
· Magnolia Bakery line, 10 p.m. - 3 mins. 30 secs.· Summer Time [NYMetro.com]
· The wait for a table at Schiller?s, 8 p.m. - 4 mins.
· The wait for an upstairs table at Spice Market, per the maître d?. - 2 hrs. 30 mins.
