Troisgros and Jeffrey Chodorow... have worked together for years in Miami, at the Blue Door in the Delano hotel. Ironically, Rocco DiSpirito's Union Pacific was formerly Troisgros' CT restaurant."
2) From the Strong Buzz: "Peter Gordon is coming to the US! Um, do you know who he is? Well, he is the chef at The Providores in London and he helped chef Brad Farmerie and partners develop the concept and menu for Public. No need to cross the pond to check out Peter?s innovative fare because for three days?August 5th, 6th and 7th?he's cooking at Public. The menu will run you $65 per person."
3) From a press release in our inbox: "Nightlife fixture and man-about-town Jamie Mulholland (Lotus, P.M., Quo) has signed a lease for a new nightclub and lounge at 544 West 27th Street in New York's West Chelsea district. South African born Mulholland will unveil CAIN this October... He said that the space will emulate and reflect the 'sophisticated and cosmopolitan nature' of his hometown of Cape Town and destinations further north in his native South Africa."
