It's one of our favorite New York City mornings?that glorious day when anyone with check in hand can march into the Javits Center and bid on city property at the public real estate auction. The Manhattan pickings are slim, but two vacant lots in the East Village catch our eye: a 25x103 lot on East 13th between A and B, and a 24x100 lot on East 1st between 2nd and 1st Aves. Minimum price on the lots is $580,500 and $562,500, respectively, for which you'll need about $116,000 and change to close the deal. (If anyone cares to let us know the final prices, we'd be obliged.)
