It's what one bedroom apartments in the building went for 20 years ago, according to an Observer article unearthed by an alert Curbed reader. A one bedroom traded hands at 74 Grand in early 2003 for $930,000 despite shoddy bookkeeping by the co-op board. "The people who bought there stayed forever, and they hadn't bothered to keep the financials," said the broker on the deal, Douglas Elliman's Tristan Harper.
