With the restoration of the arch in Washington Square Park complete, fundraising is now underway to restore the entire park. VC-cum-blogger Fred Wilson reports from a benefit in the park last night, "The weather was perfect, the event was held literally Under The Arch. After cocktails and before dinner, they lit the recently renovated arch for the first time from above and it was spectacular." Ahhh, we're picturing it like we were there... Smoke? Smoke?
