As part of a lengthy exposé of "shopping" in Brooklyn (apparently, it's all the rage), Newsday engages in some cultural anthropology:
Shopkeepers like Darleen Scherer, 33, who grinds her own beans at Gorilla Coffee on Fifth, make a sport of spotting browsers from outside Brooklyn, who make up about a third of her clientele on weekends. "They're, like, asking where everything is, and they seem confused," she said. "You know how Manhattan people are when they come to Brooklyn."One of these days, we're totally going to check that borough out.
