A Curbed reader emails a report from the Charles Gwathmey-designed Sculpture of Living rising in Astor Place: "The curtain wall on Astor Place's newest monstrosity has reared its new face. It seems that Gwathmey has selected a baby blue metallic number that was hot hot hot in the early 1990's for orthodontist buildings throughout the midwest. I am saddened that they could not have find something more stylish or subtle."
