The New York Press' annual Best of Manhattan hits the streets today. As in years past, its random acts of bile are disproportionately directed at downtown hoods, like Best Block to Fire Bomb (Clinton Street) and Best Street to Find People You'd Like to Strangle (Elizabeth Street). Hey, there's even an item making fun of a Williamsburg real estate development!
It must be asked: is there a sadder trend in our fair city right now than the lack of a fresh hipster neighborhood to ridicule?
