On Monday, the city agreed to sell its buildings on the block, plus several empty lots, to a newly formed community group for $1 each. Says one supporter, "The arts community is finally treated the same way and with the same values as we give Wall Street." Um, er. Yeah. Grotesque bonuses for everybody!
