Kondylis Channels Foster at 200 Chambers

Remember when Norman Foster architected a 36-story tower for a spot of land at 200 Chambers Street just north of the World Trade Center site, then quit the project because some pesky community board wanted him to revise his design? Then remember when developer Scott Resnick hired Costas Kondylis to re-architect it as a 30-story tower? Lore Croghan shares the first glimpse of the revised design (far right, Foster's plan at left). Ground breaks in February on what may prove to be another acute case of London envy in downtown NYC.
