In Park Slope, a Curbed correspondent snapped the above pic of the proposed site for the drive-through UFO Commerce Bank that we reported on yesterday. Another emails, "The big surprise for most people upon seeing the bank's plans last Friday was that the bank is razing two small buildings on the site and taking over about half of the block. It's a pretty huge lot for only one business to occupy on a healthy, urban, pedestrian shopping strip." And another emailer notes, "One of the terrible ironies of this development is that the proposed bank sits directly across the street from Park Slope's seminal (sole?) hipster bar, Great Lakes."
