More Subway Backlash: One Man's Trash...

On the fascinating-for-five-more-seconds subway topic, a Curbed reader emails:

Contrary to what everybody else along the C is probably thinking, I think I might have actually lucked out in the long run if the V stays as the C's replacement. Since I work in midtown on seventh ave, the V to Herald Square instead of the C to Penn Station requires no transfer and makes no difference in the walk to the office. In fact, it might have actually saved me 5 minutes this morning. Plus, the neighborhoods that the F/V runs through in downtown Manhattan are much better than, say, Chambers St. at 11:00 pm on a worknight.
