Are the "geek-yups" really fueling a rebirth in San Francisco's SoMa nabe? Shit if we know. But one far-flung Curbed reader says it's all a dot-com fantasy. He writes,
No, no, no and NO. SOMA is not back. I’m in this neighborhood six days a week- for the past ten years. Any neighborhood in SF where you can find street parking has not come back with a roar. The city has added hundreds of new residents and a baseball stadium. And you can still find street parking.Hm. We're kinda new to this beat, but wouldn't all the newcomers be riding that Rice-a-Roni train anyway?
