Rumblings & Bumblings Responses: For the Love of God and Money

[You ask. You answer. Let's rumble. As always, the good stuff to tips@curbed.com.]

1) As to One Hudson Square (see query: "Please don't tell me it will be another bank branch!"), a reader writes, "I believe that Chase is moving to the vacant space on Varick Street from across the street. On the Canal St. side, Metropolitian College is making a new entrance for it's classroom upstairs." Hey, at least the ATM dispersal will be spent on books, right?
2) Still waiting for a bite on the question about the former Wholesome Market space c. Union Square. Our guess? Dollar peep show.
3) Meanwhile, a response regarding the rumblings at 5th and 120th, across from the Bethel Gospel Assembly, which is apparently in a neighborhood known as "Harlem": "Market-rate, luxury condos are going up, along with a smaller rental building constructed at cost by the developer, which will generate longterm income for the church."
