New York drops its Home Design issue today, this time with a focus on one of Curbed's favorite topics, "the secret city"—that is, places whose greatest attributes are hidden from the street. One absolute gem: architect Matthew Baird's from-scratch 5,000 square foot townhouse on Greenwich Street (above, spitting distance from Pastis). Other voyeristic treats include Candace Bushnell's shoe closet, Donna Karan's rooftop bed, Mario Batali's Fridge, plus several more house tours for the shelter-obsessed.
