Word is 15 Central Park West, brainchild of architect Robert A.M. Stern, successor to the Mayflower Hotel, and likely the last full-block development on the Park, is having trouble closing deals. The Post's Braden Keil reports that Carl Icahn has bailed on the $43 million penthouse and other assorted billionaires are dropping off the reserve list. A source tells Keil that the building is only 20% sold. Two things: First, we are shocked that there is a reserve list; isn't it always first-come first-served? Second, we know 15 CPW will recover; we hear these buildings usually sell over e-mail anyway.
