Philip Johnson's Urban Glass House: Economy Starchitecture

The latest dispatch and cameraphone snapshot from the Urban Glass House arrives via (who else?) Polis, on site amid the hard hats at 330 Spring St. near Washington, where the late architect Philip Johnson's "very last building" was topping off:

According to the sales office, 25% of the building is in contract after only two weeks. Because the building isn't heavily loaded with amenities that no one will ever use, the price per square foot is less than other starchitect-designed luxury condo buildings (about $1500/square foot).· Glass House Part II [Polis]
