Time to rejigger that Danny-Meyer-burgers-as-stocking-stuffers plan you had: Shake Shack in Madison Square Park will NOT be staying open through Christmas Eve this year, as previously anticipated. NewYorkology posts some independent e-reporting (!) that says Dec. 13 is the official bye-bye till next year. You could of course buy your loved ones a gift card to the storied eatery, but only if they're the type who's into four months of feverish antici ... pation.
