Noted airport blogger Greg Lindsay returns from the JetBlue announcement of its Terminal 5 plans at JFK Airport with fresh images of the interior, including the glorious vision above. Notes Lindsay, "In the rendering above, you can see the chandelier composed of flight info screens hovering in the background, just behind the bleachers that remind [interior designer David] Rockwell himself of NYC stoops. (And which will go from gleaming to trash-filled after the very first wave of flights, I'm guessing.)" Hey, it's all about the layover.
While he's at it, Lindsay reveals the exact team behind every stage of JetBlue's new terminal and its integration with Eero Saarinen's joint and posts up some other T5 pix. Folks, this boy can blog.
