Developers Not Rocking the Studios Enough?

While drooling over expansive floorplans all the time, we - and more importantly, developers - could be missing out on an "underbuilt" market segment: smaller pads! So says this month's issue of The Real Deal, tipped off by the recent health of studio/1BR sales relative to hints of softness at the top. If we had coffee on the brain, which we do at the moment, we might sum up the article's advice this way: Bring on more "Dunkin' Donuts" co-ops to plug the void beneath the luxe-life "Starbucks" of the world! (Then again, maybe we've been reading NY Magazine too much.)
