Mix a slow winter news week and a favorite holiday activity with memories of 75-degree days and you get something like what the Times has today on a mini-trend toward public chaise lounges. Those as impervious to the cold weather as they are to getting mugged while "Chill lounge"-ing can head out to Riverside Park South near W. 65th St., Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City, or the West Midtown Ferry Terminal at 39th Street to see what all the off-season fuss is about.
