1) Holy water tower! Rupert Murdoch might actually do it! By now we all know about the News Corp. boss's $28 million Soho triplex loft and how much press it has grabbed. Now, sources tell New York that fashion biggie Elie Tahari is buying it, although for a slightly reduced 25 million. Tahari currently lives in the Trump International. Here's the listing for 141 Prince for old time's sake. [Deborah Schoeneman/NYMag]
2) We're not sure what Luke Wilson did to Braden Keil in a past life, but it's knives out as the real estate columnist calls the actor's next film "perhaps straight-to-DVD" and refers to his last role as "in, uh ... one of those Will Ferrell movies." Oh, and Keil also says Wilson ditched his $3,000/night suite in the Trump International (Trump Int'l keeps losing 'em, eh?) for a $15,000/month three-bedroom penthouse apartment at 790 Greenwich Ave. while he's shooting Super Ex-Girlfriend. We're pretty sure it's the penthouse located here and pictured at right. PriceChop! [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
3) Speaking of PriceChopper, after trimming down the price from six bills to $5.25 million, Britney Spears has gone down again (heh.) on her Silk Building quadruplex at East 4th Street. The going rate is now $4.995 million, and there has been interest. [S.Jhoanna Robledo/NYMag]
