You knew it wouldn't be too long before those hard-copy-origin pubs (aka newspapers) would get into the Google Maps melee, but who would've thunk that the Village Voice's "Voice Picks Map" - the editors' favorite restaurants, done up for your click-and-panning - would be so apparently Manhattan-biased? We're shocked, shocked. As was Gothamist yesterday: "By our count, there are only three Voice picks this week in the outer boroughs, and that's messed up!" Perhaps they were shamed, though, as we now count at least twice as many.
Of course, we're still waiting for the Times' cartographic treatment of Metropolitan Diary, complete with total beats missed for the week.
