The world watched?and snickered?as the price on CNN anchor Anderson Cooper's West 38th Street loft fell from $2.2 million to $1.895 million, and then down to $1.795 million. Even Page 6 took on the case of Cooper's PriceChop, reporting that he was selling so he could move up to the penthouse in the very same building. Well, it's time to slap the ol' boy on the back, because our occasional glance at the listing turned up quite the golden nugget this morning: contract signed! That's all we've got right now, nothing on buyer or price or anything. Baby steps, people.
