A Curbed correspondent captures another sad moment in Tribeca earlier this week as the lot that once held El Teddy's, crown and all, is excavated. But, the Tribeca Trib brings good news from the hood: the new owner of legendary dive bar Puffy's Tavern says he's going to keep the place as-is, after a brief two-month closing to scrape off one of the many layers of grime.
