Yesterday, we said we were sick of Ratner's crafty Brooklyn arena doings. And we are. Oh, we are. Yet it would be remiss to let the week pass without noting this article about Dan Goldstein, an idealistic sort who happens to own a condo in the path of Bruce's wrecking ball. While other neighbors at his Pacific Street condo building have sold out to the developer for roughly twice what they paid a few years back, Goldstein is standing strong. His determination has made an unlikely sex symbol for preservationists, and at least one female Curbed reader, who emails, "He's our dreamboat spokesperson. Maybe I want him for myself. He's certainly got a nice apartment." Neighborhood activism?so hot!
