Soho's The Wall in Judge's Hands

Do you know The Wall? Brief background on a legendary Soho story, if you're new round these parts: at the southwest corner of Houston and Broadway, there's a broad expanse of vertical real estate that would be just perfect for, say, a giant Miss Sixty billboard. But the building owners can't put up an ad on The Wall due to a little problem of "art"?42 aluminum bars bolted to 42 steel braces, to be exact, a work of vertical sculpture that was affixed to the wall's surface in 1973. The building owners removed the bars in 2002 for building restoration, and would like not to put them back. On March 15, the case continues in court.
