In Battery Park, the long-neglected Victorian-architected Pier A is at last preparing to undergo restoration after decades of wrangling. The renovated pier is likely to serve as an embarkation point for Statue of Liberty visitors, while the third floor will become a "tavern on the water." Says one pumped-up participant, "This building has so much history, I am so stoked to be a part of this project."
