Christopher Brodeur, who plans to run for mayor under the Angry Taxpayers? Party and once suggested he might slice the throat of mayoral spokesperson Ed Skyler, was arrested for harassing Paul Stallings, the developer of The Hotel on Rivington and Brodeur's former landlord. Seems Stallings evicted Brodeur from his Pitt St. apartment after Brodeur refused to pay rent for nine months. Brodeur responded by leaving threatening messages on Stallings' voicemail, noting, "It only takes one anarchist to kill a Paul Stallings." More of the disturbing harangue in The Villager police blotter.
