Last February, we noted that the long-delayed East Side Company Bar would open...the previous July. Then we were all like, "OK, how about the first week of March?" No dice. But this time, we swear, Sacha Petraske's Milk & Honey follow-up is probably could be maybe potentially somewhat open. Claims a gushing Curbed reader:
I live in the neighborhood and have been hoping & praying for this place to open for months. Walked by last Sunday surprise, it was open for business (according to the bartender they opened last Wednesday). I like the atmosphere & interior, the neighborhood people, and the moderate prices (paid $8 for a drink).Do we detect more disinformation? Enthusiasm for an $8 drink on the Lower East Side sounds a little suspicious.
