A Curbed correspondent files a report from Extra Place, across the street from Avalon Chrystie Place on the north side of East Houston: "Report from 1st and Bowery: The Phipps Houses Extra Place Apartments portion of the Cooper Square Urban Renewal Area development received their first delivery of fresh concrete for the new foundation a few weeks back. 1st floor retail and 41 affordable units."
