East Houston megaplex Avalon Chrystie Place has launched a flashy revamped website. Besides showing off the uptown view of the unfinished Sculpture for Living in Astor Place (right), it reveals the rents you're invited to pay when signups start April 20 for estimated residency in June:

A Curbed correspondent files a report from Extra Place, across the street from Avalon Chrystie Place on the north side of East Houston: "Report from 1st and Bowery: The Phipps Houses Extra Place Apartments portion of the Cooper Square Urban Renewal Area development received their first delivery of fresh concrete for the new foundation a few weeks back. 1st floor retail and 41 affordable units."
