Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Glenn Closes

1) A penthouse in Central Park West's Beresford (right) that once belonged to Rock Hudson has been sold to actress Glenn Close and biotech honcho David E. Shaw. The co-op may have two bedrooms, two balconies, a private elevator and a small upstairs study, but it can't quite escape a little trash talk from a realtor who lives in the building, who calls it glamorous, but small (shall we take this outside?). The place was listed at $9 million in 2003, but had dropped down to $5.99m by the time it was sold. [William Neuman/Big Deal]
2) Finally proving who the boss of that hosuehold really was, Tony Danza trumps Judith Light by scooping up a $1.7 million condo at 111 West 67th St., walking distance from the studios where the "Tony Danza Show" is taped. Danza had been renting the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, and sharing in on his views of Central Park and the city are building neighbors Regis Philbin and Howard Stern. Best poker game ever? [Braden Keil/NYPost]
3) Ponytailed fashion superstar Karl Lagerfeld is reconnecting with old chum Ian Schrager by reportedly going to contract on an apartment in Schrager's Gramercy Park condo-hotel (or, like, check this out). Fret not, Lagerheads, Herr Karl will get a key. [Braden Keil/NYPost]
