Hampton Inn, Where Price Is Not an Object

Hotel Chatter picks up on a Flyer Talk thread that asks the pressing question, Why are all Hampton Inns in Manhattan so expensive? (Yes, there are four of them and they're fucking expensive ? upwards of $350 a night.) As H'Chatter points out, you could stay at the posh Maritime Hotel for cheaper. But perhaps HC should look inward for the answer to this question, for it was that very blog that spread the word last fall about the Inns' "radio alarm clocks with buttons for hip-hop and other music genres" and "free guava juice." Next thing, somebody'll blab about the free USA Today, and $500/night will seem like a cheap memory.
