Slow week for celebrity real estate, what with William Neuman and Braden Keil both sipping cocktails poolside somewhere. (Anybody got the skinny on where the dynamic duo summer?) Meantime, thank god for the Observer, whose reporters aren't allowed to come out of their cages until the very last bit of Montell Williams news has been spread:
1) Jill Abrahamson, New York Times managing editor, and her husband Henry Griggs, have taken up residence in a $1.65 million condo in the Spice Building. The 1650sqft Tribeca loft is equipped with a sound-proof room and a bidet. Kinky! [Manhattan Transfers]
2) Oscar de la Renta's 4600sqft, 11-room upper east side apartment is back on the market after an earlier deal died at the feet of the co-op board. Asking $12.5 million. [The Real Estate]
3) Reportedly tired of the gawkers in Miami, Shaquille O'Neal has put his Star Island house on the market for $32 million. The Heat center bought the place, which has 8 bedrooms, 10 baths, a tennis court, racquetball court, gym, 300 feet of dockage, a two-bedroom guesthouse, and very tall doorways, for $19 million less than a year ago. [Forbes]
4) Montell Williams has sold his Trumpland penthouse on Riverside for $2.275 million. [Manhattan Transfers]
