This may be our favorite thing ever. Lunching at the bar at City Hall in Tribeca today, our eyes alighted on this giant painting hung over a back banquette. Behold, a gauzy vision of the New York Skyline that Could Have Been. See the Freedom Tower?with wind turbines! And the Calatrava Tower O' Penthouse Power! And the Woolworth?uh, forget the Woolworth Building, actually. No price noted for this masterpiece, nor an artist. As such, we surmise that it sprung, fully formed, from the head of Zeus himself. Should that prove not to be the case?well, please leave us here in the corner with our dreams.
