It's been a little while since we spent some time playing around with appraiser Miller Samuel's addictive New York real estate research graphs. There's one that graphs average apartment prices versus the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and another that shows apartment prices versus the 30-year mortgage rate. Some are more useful than others, like the graph above that shows available inventory from 2001 through the second quarter of this year?an indication that though inventory (apartments available for sale) may be growing, the market ain't glutted just yet.
